Linda Potgieter is Sales Director and a Senior Member of Business Negotiation Solutions Limited's (BNS) Consulting Board. BNS Ltd is a specialist negotiation consulting and training organisation headquartered in London, specialising in the design, delivery and support of customised in-house solutions.

Linda started her corporate career working alongside entrepreneurs in the medical services industry. Key to delivering value within her various roles was her ability to identify the success factors in persuasive & effective communications. Linda’s primary responsibilities centred on being part of or leading commercial teams within the business in pursuit of change management, team building & management developmenprogrammes.

Linda’s strength is her deep understanding of people and their professional development needs. Her passion is driven by her interest in- and understanding of the impact of human dynamics on business performance.  Prior to assuming her role as Sales Director & Senior Consultant of Business Negotiation Solutions, she gained experience at management level within the commercial medical, leisure and IT industries.

Linda had the privilege to be invited onto then President Nelson Mandela’s project PR team during 1998, and cites the experience gained in this role as one of her career highlights. Awarded along with her team for her performance in this role, Linda is well known for her passionate, deliverable driven approach and her relentless pursuit of excellence.  She is a member of Business Negotiation Solutions’ Executive team, responsible for the development of new business on a global scale.

Linda has the rare ability to connect with individuals across cultures & functional disciplines within organisations, enabling her to deliver value across the entire value chain. Relying on both EQ and IQ, Linda’s approach has much in common with world renowned leaders such as Anthony Robbins, Dr Norman Vincent Peale and Dale Carnegie. She cites their influence as instrumental in her own personal development.

Winner of a National Sales Award in January 2006 from the Institute of Sales & Marketing Management (UK) for ‘British Excellence in Sales & Marketing’, Linda has enjoyed considerable success in the sales negotiation arena.  She has both closed and delivered successful projects for organisations across industries & geographical boundaries, including the World Bank, IBM, Schlumberger, Adidas, EON, Mercer, Nestle and Nycomed. Her clients cite her training style and capability as “…highly motivational, passionate and performance impacting”.

Linda is highly regarded internationally as an expert on the interpersonal dimensions of Sales Negotiation, and devotes herself to the further discovery & development of tools & techniques to facilitate persuasive & effective communication and negotiation.
